On 12th July 2009 Eye4you Alliance Island officially closed down on the Teen Grid. Over 20 TSL residents came to the closing down party on 12th July 2010 for most of the day. The party lasted for a few hours with live music, Linden visits and party rockets.
The island was closed due to lack of funding by The Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County. At some point on Sunday 19th July 2009 Eye4you island went offline and then was removed by Linden Lab shortly afterwards.
Eye4you Alliance island was one of the most popular favourite teen islands on the Teen Grid since 2006 and managed to attract hundreds of visitors. The TechTG region only remains which is not currently owned or run by The Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County.
Thanks to everyone that volunteered and managed the island over the years. We will never forget the good times we had together!
