This month and through January, an exhibit on Charles Dickens was created by Libby Beam, librarian on Eye4You from the University of Kentucky. With the assistance of several teens on Eye4You as well as other adults, objects for the exhibit were created such as a guillotine (Tale of Two Cities), Jacob Marley’s chains (A Christmas Carol and more. For pics of the exhibit, visit Eye4You’s flickr page. For more information about the exhibit, visit here. It is a great resource for educators looking for information such as essays from around the world on Charles Dickens, performances, and other memorabilia associated with the author. Special thanks to Claudia Linden.
Join Eye4You for the opening of the exhibit, Friday, December 7, 12-2pmsl.
Opening of the exhibit went well. It was great to see teens interact with the Dickens quiz and know the answers much better than I. Thanks to Snoopy Lane for the sit animation for the Tale of Two Cities guillotine. Thanks again to Libby for making this exhibit possible in the first place.
