Saturday Feb. 16 was the kick off event for for The Tech Museum’s virtual project. About forty teen residents attended to learn how the project works and how to get started. Avi Markova, approved adult organizing the project and rl museum exhibitor said that the museum is changing the way they do rl exhibits by inviting those in SL to create inworld exhibits that can be built irl.
The exhibits must be on technology art, film, and music, must be interactive, something that can be created in some way irl, and has some core educational content about art/film/music. A cool exhibit is pretty important too.
There will be ten winners total from mg and tg and will each win $5,000USD and an invitation to attend the opening of the rl exhibits.
