First Streamed Concert from Muse Isle

I think the first streamed concert went well. The Sarah Mac Band opened for Lee Broderick. They were playing Live in ATL and on the MG. I went back and forth from the MG (to take snapshots) and let them know their music was on the TG as well. The teens, Storm and Jay, helped build a performance area and helped stream the music (more pics will be forthcoming). Spike Linden did pay a visit to double check that the music was PG. I’m glad he did check, and I think the music was okay (I did listen to samples beforehand). I hope that other libraries will consider streaming in their music to SL. People from around the world were dancing, listening, and meeting each other. Thanks to Nigel from Muse Isle for letting us stream the music to the Teen Grid. A great comment on the TG was that we were ‘just like Global Kids with events and all except we have a beach.’ We take that as a compliment to be compared to Global Kids.
